In our conscious moments, some of us ponder what is an enlightened life with meanings and purposes?
In a capitalist society and system we live and breathe in, we are constantly persuaded by ideas, actions, norms, and rules around us that mold us to believe: (a) what is real is what is measurable and purchasable, that (b) accumulation of what is purchasable, givable, and tradable via monetary/material terms defines a good life, and that (c) nothing else besides these aforementioned conditions or show-ability holds values.
In the stream of capitalism, each of us is chess played by the already programmed games, following an algorithm that benefits more the privileged in the game hierarchy, such as game players or designers. To strive for a more enlightened life with meanings and purposes though is not to be the game designer but to find ways to resist the game collectively and to reframe the values set by the algorithm.
