I am Wen-Chia Claire Chang. I am an assistant professor in the Policy, Curriculum, and Leadership department at the National Institute of Education/Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
My research focuses on advancing equity and centering culture in teaching, assessment/measurement, and evaluation practices.
As a former program evaluator in the field of international development, my experience working in and with minoritized communities in the Asia Pacific region, together with my cultural and racialized experience navigating higher education institutions in various contexts, shape my scholarship and my commitment to a more inclusive, equitable, and just society.
