I am Wen-Chia Claire Chang. I am an assistant professor in the Policy, Curriculum, and Leadership Academic Group at the National Institute of Education/Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
My research focuses on equity issues in measurement, evaluation, and assessment in the context of teaching and learning to teach culturally and linguistically diverse students with a commitment to equity and social justice.
As a former program evaluator in the field of international development, my experience working in and with minoritized communities in the Asia Pacific region, together with my cultural and racialized experience navigating higher education institutions in various contexts, shape my scholarship and my commitment to a more equitable and just society.
